Location:

Oakland, CA

Project Scope:

Major Renovation, Assembly Hall

The Berith Fellowship Hall is set to be a new home for a non-traditional Christian congregation. The scope includes an assembly hall seating 320 as well as classrooms and administrative offices. Conceived as a lantern that shines at night, the building is composed of a strong base built of concrete masonry units draped with an exterior curtainwall clad in perforated copper skin. An outdoor gathering space is covered by a striking rooftop canopy and offers stunning views of the Bay.

Berith Fellowship Hall was featured in “City by Design: An Architectural Perspective of the Greater San Francisco Bay Area” published by Panache Partners in 2009.
